Holometrica was founded in January 2025 by a team of researchers, engineers, and entrepreneurs passionate about photonics, holographic interferometry, thermography, AI and machine learning.
Years of pioneering Research and Development work of Dr. Vivi Tornari at IESL-FORTH resulted in a very innovative lab prototype, the Digital Holographic Speckle Pattern Interferometry (DHSPI) system.
FORTH, the renowned research centre of Crete in Greece, the innovator Dr. Vivi Tornari and Tecreando, a tech venture builder, are among the founders of Holometrica for transforming DHSPI prototype from lab to market.
The SafeRay deep-tech product
Holometrica, based on DHSPI, developed the groundbreaking product SafeRay to commercialize the DHSPI breakthrough technology globally.
SafeRay is a portable thermo-interferometry device, powered by AI. It detects sub-micron defects, quantifies risk, and forecasts failure before it becomes visible years ahead. It is a non-invasive, contactless, and material-agnostic tool transforming preventive maintenance and conservation.
SafeRay fuses advanced laser interferometry with thermal imaging and physics-informed AI to capture what no other portable tool can see: how materials respond to stress at the microscopic level.
