On 9 October 2025, Stone Soup (stonesoup.io) organised and hosted in Athens a dynamic networking event bringing together a group of young Dutch startups and innovators with the wider Stone Soup community of companies and entrepreneurs. The objective of the event was to foster meaningful connections, exchange experiences, and share practical know-how across diverse technology and business domains.
A strong delegation of Dutch startup founders participated, representing a wide range of sectors including web development, hardware engineering, AI, software, industrial manufacturing, marketing, and process optimization:
Tecreando was invited to deliver a presentation.
Panos Tsatsoulis and Nikos Damianakis presented Tecreando’s activities, track record, and venture-building approach, with particular emphasis on collaboration with research centers such as FORTH (forth.gr) and on the venture Holometrica (holometrica.com).
The Dutch founders showed strong interest in Tecreando’s venture-building model, its research-to-market strategy, and the challenges encountered during Tecreando’s formative years. Each participant subsequently presented their own company and business model, leading to an open, insightful, and highly engaging discussion that continued informally during the rooftop lunch buffet.
The event was organised and hosted by Olga, Giorgos, and Rebecca from Stone Soup, whose contribution ensured a highly impactful and well-curated experience for all participants.
